Highlights:

Thursday:
- Crew decided against leaving marina Thursday night due to 1/2 full ("1/2 empty") waste tank
- Gregg B sighting at marina
- Martini samples c/o Eric

Friday:
- Bought remaining provisions @ Bayfield (salt, fresh local strawberries)
- Tacked S side of Madeline Island into wind, viewed Long Island by water
    - Kayaked on route
- Motored to Michigan Island, late
    - Supper away from waves - brats, hot dogs
    - 6 in dinghy to shore, sunset @ beach
- Motored to Julian Bay, Stockton Island late
- Full moon
- Kayaked >12am

Saturday:
- Breakfast sandwiches, well received!
- Shore activities @ Julian Bay, morning
    - Austin portaged kayak to inland bog
    - Swimming from beach & boat
    - Observed nearby shipwreck via submerged phone video
- Sailed afternoon:
    - Captain off-duty/resting, Peter set off, navigated
    - E & N of Stockton, around W side Cat Island, nice wind
    - Cutting board lost a chunk on-route
- Dinner E side of Cat Island, tenuous anchorage - Fajitas!
- Rain, brief -- rainbow, double (brief, sporadic rain all weekend)
- Motored past "chumps" in Julian Bay, late; anchored @ Presque Isle Bay, only boat

Sunday:
- Cereal, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches
- Sailing/motoring back, stopped @ Hermit Island, kayaked cool quarry S side, snake sighting, brief rain again
- Lunch of smoked whitefish, trout, crackers, cream cheese, brie/crackers
- Eric @ helm into dock, Pike's Bay

Crew: Brian L, Andrew C, Eric T, Betsy M, Kate S, Jason R, Anna D, Noah C Trip Highlights/Route: Thursday: - Arrived late, via Bent Paddle brewery in Duluth; Noah waited out a cold - Novice cocktail creation attempts Friday: - Noah joined us ~8:30am - Bought fly swatters, redundantly - Betsy ran to Bayfield on the highway, back with mint - Departed marina, sails up right away, shifty winds - Took turns kayaking shipwrecks in Red Cliff Bay, motored nearby (motoring ~30min) - Engine alarmed (IMT - "intake manifold temperature" >200°F) - Let engine cool under sail, debugged (in a few hours had cooled to 147°F; idling [neutral] helped cool faster) - Motored again SE of Oak Island (alarmed again, temp >200°F with ~1500 rpm for ~15min) - Shut off engine for duration (Primary concern: melting turbo charger, leading to fire, destroying engine and/or boat.) - Sailed to Anchorage N side of Oak Island, anchored under sail power, dark; 2 anchor attempts (motor nee
